하이드로폰이란, 수중의 초음파의 음장을 측정하기 때문에 넓은 범위의 주파수의 초음파를 고분해능으로 측정할 수 있는 수신전용 초소형 트랜스튜서입니다. 니들형 하이드로폰은 공간 분해능력이 필요할 때 적합합니다.

Features

• Needle type element diameter : Φ 0.5 mm
• We use P(VDF-TrFE) which is a polymer piezoelectric material developed in TORAY.
• Since the acoustic impedance is close to that of water, the sensitivity difference is small at the resonance frequency and the nonresonance frequency. The resonance peak is wide. Therefore, it reproduces a signal faithful to the incident wave over a wide range.
• Due to the small difference in sound velocity between polymer piezoelectric film and water, angle of incidence tolerance is large and angle adjustment of hydrophone is easy.
• Among polymer materials, materials with high electromechanical coupling coefficient and upper temperature limit, stable and high performance in temperature change is demonstrated.
• The measurable frequency range is from 1MHz to 20MHz.
